Partial removal of a gear belt of a camshaft (its top part) is obligatory at removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders or a camshaft, and also for adjustment of backlashes of valves.

Full removal of a gear belt is necessary at removal and installation of an asterisk and a chain of a drive of the oil pump, at removal and installation of the pump of a cooling liquid, at replacement of a sealing ring of a cranked shaft from outside a belt, and also for removal of a plate of a sealing ring. Both kinds of removal of a belt are described together.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. 2. Turn to the right a steering wheel and from under the right wing remove a plastic protective casing. 3. In engines XUD 7ТЕ remove the air branch pipe placed between the filter and турбокомпрессором. 4. Unscrew candles накаливания. 5. Under the engine, from outside a camshaft drive, place a support or support the engine on the right side by means of a jack. 6. Remove the right support of the engine. 7. Release a tension roller and elements of fastening of the generator. Remove клиновой a belt. 8. Take the bottom latch of casings and remove hooks. 9. Take a casing of a drive of a camshaft. 10. Remove a rubber basic element. 11. Establish engine elements in a starting position and place blocking elements (3 bolts and blocking core) in a flywheel, in a pulley of a camshaft and in a pulley of the fuel pump of a high pressure. 12. Release elements of fastening of a tension roller. 13. By means of a key with a square head take away back a tension roller and screw up roller nuts. 14. Remove the bottom plate картера couplings and insert the adaptation blocking a flywheel. 15. Unscrew амортизирующее a wheel and remove it together with a plastic casing. 16. Remove a gear belt.

The prevention

The gear belt cannot be bent. Besides, it should not have contacts to oil, the water, a cooling liquid and greasing.
