THE GENERAL DATA

Adjustment of number of turns of idling of pump Roto Diesel

1 – the basic screw of the minimum number of turns,

5 – the basic screw of idling

Adjustment of the minimum number of turns and behaviour of the engine at sharp release accelerator pedals – pump Roto Diesel

1 – the basic screw of the minimum number of turns,

2 – the lever of number of turns,

3 – the lever of a stop,

4 – the lever of the expense,

And – a plate,

In – the probe in diameter of 3 mm

The engine should be heated-up, draught of idling with the increased number of turns should be free (backlash J = 0,5–1 mm).

Adjustment of the minimum number of turns

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a plate () (fig. Adjustment of the minimum number of turns and behaviour of the engine see at sharp release accelerator pedals – pump Roto Diesel) between the basic screw of the minimum number of turns and the lever of number of turns (2).
2. The thickness of a plate () should make 3 mm (engine XUD 9) or 2,5 mm (engine XUD 7ТЕ).
3. Move the lever of a stop (3) and fix it, having inserted into an aperture of the lever of the expense (4) core () diameter 3 mm.
4. The basic screw of the minimum number of turns establish number of turns of the engine 900 50 rpm.
5. Take a core () and a plate ().

Idling adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the minimum number of turns.
2. By means of the basic screw (5) (fig. Adjustment of number of turns of idling of pump Roto Diesel see) establish number of turns of the engine of 750-800 rpm.

Check of behaviour of the engine at sudden clearing of a pedal of an accelerator

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Increase number of turns of the engine to 3000 rpm and sharply release draught of a pedal of an accelerator.
2. If the engine too quickly dumps turns and shows the tendency to a stop it is necessary to unscrew the basic screw of the minimum number of turns (1) (see fig. Adjustment of the minimum number of turns and behaviour of the engine at sharp release accelerator pedals – pump Roto Diesel).
3. If the engine too slowly dumps turns it is necessary to screw in on 1/4 turns the basic screw of the minimum number of turns (1).
4. In both cases it is necessary to check up idling turns.

Check of idling with the increased number of turns

Establish in extreme position the lever (4) (fig. Adjustment of the minimum number of turns and behaviour of the engine see at sharp release accelerator pedals – pump Roto Diesel). In this position the number of turns of the engine should make 950 50 rpm (is not regulated).
