3.2.4. Installation of the fuel pump of high pressure BOSCH
THE GENERAL DATA

The fuel pump of high pressure Bosch and atomizers
1 – the pump,
2 – a pulley of a drive of the pump,
3 – an arm,
4 – электрически the operated valve of a stop of the engine,
5 – the device of thermostatic management of start of the cold engine,
6 – the case of an atomizer,
7 – a spray,
8 – a regulating lining,
9 – a cover of a control aperture of the pump.

Placing on the fuel pump of high pressure Bosch of the indicator of hour type in an installation time


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
2. Establish a cranked shaft of the engine so that the final valve of the cylinder №1 was in the opening beginning.
3. Uncover (it is specified by an arrow) the control aperture located in a back part of the pump.
4. Incline the pump outside of the engine.
5. In engines XUD 7ТЕ it is necessary to disconnect necessarily management of system of start of the cold engine.
6. In an adjusting aperture establish the indicator of hour type with an arm 0117 АК1 and the extension piece 0117 АК2.
7. Turning a cranked shaft of the engine, find the bottom dead point of the piston of a divider of the fuel pump of a high pressure.
8. Null the indicator of hour type.
9. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine before position in which the valve of the cylinder №1 start to open (it corresponds ВМТ the piston of the cylinder №4).
10. In this position fix an engine flywheel.
11. Slowly turn the pump in a direction of an advancing of injection while the indicator of hour type behind the bottom dead point will not show necessary value.
12. Tighten fixing elements of the pump the corresponding moment.

Installation check

These actions are carried out after pump installation.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an element fixing a flywheel.
2. Turn коленвал on 1/4 turns in a direction opposite to a direction of its rotation.

The prevention

Turn a cranked shaft according to a direction of rotation and fix it in ВМТ the piston of the cylinder №4.


3. In this position the indicator of hour type should show correct value. If value shown by the gauge does not correspond necessary it is necessary to establish the pump once again.
4. Remove the adaptations serving for installation of the pump, and unscrew the bolts fixing a pulley of the pump.
5. Fix a cover of a control aperture, the top casing of a drive and a candle накаливания.
6. In engines XUD 7ТЕ connect management of system of start of the cold engine.
7. Other actions execute in return sequence in relation to dismantling.
8. Remove air from fuel system.
9. Adjust idling turns.
