THE MODERNIZED CENTRAL CONSOLE (MODELS TILL 1992)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a negative wire from the accumulator.
2. To move forward seats against the stop back.
3. At presence to unscrew screws of fastening and to remove lateral wings from a forward part of the central console.
4. To remove a box for cartridges from a forward part of the central console and to unscrew opened two screws, крепящие the central console to a heater.
5. To move forward seats against the stop forward.
6. To remove заглушки and to unscrew screws of fastening of a back part of the central console.
7. To open a cover of branch of packing in a back part of the central console and to unscrew the screw in the bottom part of branch.
8. To unscrew two screws (on one from each party) fastenings of the central console to a suspension bracket of a control lever a transmission.
9. To remove противопылевый a cap of the lever of a manual brake from the central console.
10. To remove a protective cover from a control lever a transmission.
11. To raise the central console, then to disconnect all electroconducting and to release plaits of wires from скоб fastenings under the central console.
12. To remove the central console on a control lever a transmission and to the lever of a manual brake.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

THE STANDARD CENTRAL CONSOLE (MODELS TILL 1992)

Removal and installation

Operations are similar to removal and installation of the modernised central console (see above). Thus it is necessary to consider following moments:

  – The central console consists of two sections;
  – In the central console there are no switches.

THE MODERNIZED CENTRAL CONSOLE (MODELS SINCE 1993)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At presence to remove a forward armrest.
2. For access to screws to remove the plate of furnish closing the central part of the central console. To unscrew fastening screws.
3. On models with a mechanical transmission to remove a sheeting of a control lever a transmission from the central panel, then to remove the handle from the lever and to remove a sheeting of a control lever a box together with the handle.
4. On models with an automatic transmission to execute following actions.
5. To check up that the selector lever is in neutral position.
6. To unscrew two screws from the mechanism of the lever of the selector (on one from each party of the lever).
7. To turn the selector lever on a turn quarter clockwise, then to remove the handle from the top part of the lever.
8. To turn the selector lever on a turn quarter back (in normal position) then to remove the lever.
9. To remove a decorative cover of the selector.
10. To unscrew two screws of fastening and to remove the selector panel.
11. On all models to unscrew screws of fastening and to remove wings from a forward part of the central console for access to air lines of system of heating.
12. To unscrew screws of fastening and to disconnect air lines from each party of the central console.
13. Working in a forward part of the central console, to disconnect electric sockets.
14. To lift upwards the lever of a manual brake, then to remove the central console on the lever of a manual brake.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
2. On models with an automatic transmission to establish the selector lever as follows.
3. To check up that the selector lever is in neutral position.
4. To pull the lever on a rod of a gear change and to turn on a turn quarter clockwise.
5. To pull the lever over a gear change rod against the stop.
6. To establish the button on the top part of the lever and to check up, that the button was fixed on a flute in the top part of a rod of a gear change.
7. To press the lever downwards, then to turn the lever on a turn quarter back (in normal position).

THE STANDARD CENTRAL CONSOLE (MODELS SINCE 1993)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a negative wire from the accumulator.
2. To move forward seats against the stop forward.
3. To unscrew two screws of fastening of a back part of the central console.
4. To remove the handle of the lever of a manual brake and switches from the top part of the central console. To disconnect electric sockets from switches.
5. To lift upwards the lever of a manual brake.
6. To take the block of an ashtray from a pocket in the panel.
7. To open a folding cover of an ashtray and to take an ashtray.
8. On models a mechanical transmission to remove a sheeting of a control lever a transmission from the central console, then to remove the handle from the lever and to remove a sheeting of a control lever a box together with the handle.
9. On models with an automatic transmission to execute following actions.
10. To check up that the selector lever is in neutral position.
11. To unscrew two screws from the mechanism of the lever of the selector (on one from each party of the lever).
12. To turn the selector lever on a turn quarter clockwise, then to remove the handle from the top part of the lever.
13. To turn the selector lever on a turn quarter back (in normal position) then to remove the lever.
14. To remove a decorative cover of the selector.
15. To unscrew two screws of fastening and to remove the selector panel.
16. To unscrew opened two screws (are specified by an arrow) fastenings of a forward part of the central console.
17. Then to remove the central console on the lever of a manual brake.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
2. On models with an automatic transmission to establish the selector lever as follows.
3. To check up that the selector lever is in neutral position.
4. To pull the lever on a rod of a gear change and to turn on a turn quarter clockwise.
