12.22. The stoplight switch

THE GENERAL DATA

Arrangement of the switch of a stoplight on a suspension bracket of a brake pedal

The switch (it is specified by an arrow) is established on a suspension bracket of a brake pedal.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. 2. To disconnect an electric socket, to unscrew the switch and to remove it from an arm.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To press a brake pedal against the stop. 2. To establish the switch in a suspension bracket of a pedal of a brake. 3. To release a brake pedal, thus it should contact with the switch. 4. To connect an electric socket and a weight wire to the accumulator. 5. To check up work of stoplights. Stoplights should light up after the brake pedal is pressed approximately 5 mm.

Adjustment

The stoplight switch the self-regulated.
