The nuts located under a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of models 1761 of sm3 and 1998 sm3 (with 8 valves)

Nuts are specified by arrows.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Engines of 1580 sm3 and 1905 sm3 (8 valves)
1. To remove a wire of weight from the accumulator.
2. On models 1580 of sm3 and 1905 sm3 to remove the air filter and a casing of the air filter.
3. On all models to remove a ventilation hose картера the engine.
4. To remove brackets fastenings of high-voltage wires to a cover.
5. To unscrew two bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and to uncover with a rubber lining.
Engines of 1761 sm3 and 1998 sm3 (8 valves)
6. To remove a ventilation hose картера the engine from the right forward party of a cover.
7. To remove brackets, to unscrew two screws and to uncover a filtering element of the air filter.
8. To unscrew 10 bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and to uncover with a rubber lining.
Models with 16 valves
9. To remove fuel and returnable hoses from the forward party of the main cover and to muffle their stoppers.
10. To unscrew 7 bolts and to uncover, closing spark plugs.
11. To remove electric wires.
12. To remove a ventilation hose картера the engine from the left forward party of a cover.
13. To unscrew 12 bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders, marking the position occupied with each bolt as bolts have four various lengths.
14. To uncover with a rubber lining.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Engines of 1580 sm3 and 1905 sm3 (8 valves)
1. Carefully to clear a head cover, to remove all traces of oil and to establish a rubber lining on all length of a cover.
2. Being careful to establish a cover on a head of the block of cylinders and to screw up bolts.
3. To establish earlier removed wires and hoses.
4. To establish the air filter.
5. To connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
Engines of 1761 sm3 and 1998 sm3 (8 valves)
6. Carefully to clear a head cover, to remove all traces of oil and to establish a rubber lining on all length of a cover.
7. Being careful to establish a cover on a head of the block of cylinders and to screw up bolts gradually and in regular intervals till the demanded moment (Sequence of a tightening of bolts of fastening of a cover fig. see engines of 1761 sm3 and 1998 sm3).
8. To establish earlier removed wires and hoses.
9. To establish the air filter.
10. To connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
Models with 16 valves
11. To execute the actions described for models with 8 valves.
12. To establish four oil consolidations in apertures for spark plugs.
13. To establish a cover of a head and to screw up bolts gradually and in regular intervals till the demanded moment.
14. To establish a cover closing spark plugs.
15. To establish earlier removed wires and hoses.
16. To establish the air filter.
