Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a wire of weight from the accumulator.
2. To uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
Models 1905 of sm3 with 16 valves
3. To unscrew a bolt from a plastic casing of a pulley of the pump of the amplifier of a steering.
4. To remove driving a belt from a leading pulley of a steering drive.
5. To unscrew a bolt and to remove a pulley from the camshaft end.
6. To remove pulleys from both camshafts.
7. To uncover the breaker-distributor and a distributor rotor.
8. To unscrew a bolt and to remove the distributor of ignition and a consolidation disk.
9. To unscrew a bolt of fastening of an internal casing of a gear belt of a drive from outside heads of the block of cylinders.
10. To release a pipe of giving of oil to covers of bearings of a camshaft and to remove it.
11. To turn a camshaft so that Slots on a turn-key basis there were approximately in position 3 hours.
12. In regular intervals and gradually to weaken covers of bearings of a camshaft that reduces pressure клапанной springs by a bearing cover. As soon as pressure of springs is removed, bolts can be completely unscrewed and removed.
13. To remove covers of bearings, marking a site of probes.
14. To remove camshafts from a head of the block of cylinders, consolidations and a clamp of axial moving.
15. Using a rubber sucker, to take a pusher of the valve and it is obligatory to turn it for an exception leakage from an engine oil pusher. To note a site of pushers for their repeated installation on the places.
Models 1998 of sm3 with 16 valves
16. To remove pulleys from a camshaft and where it is necessary, also to remove the vacuum pump from the left forward end of a head of the block of cylinders.
17. To unscrew six bolts, крепящих an internal casing of a gear belt to the block of cylinders of the engine, and to remove a casing.
18. To release a pipe of giving of oil to covers of bearings of a camshaft and to remove it.
19. To uncover the breaker-distributor and a distributor rotor.
20. To unscrew a bolt and to remove the distributor of ignition and a consolidation disk.
21. Covers of the bearing of a camshaft are numbered from 1 to 5, and the cover 1 is located from outside a drive.
22. Removal of covers is made in sequence, return shown on drawing Sequence of fastening of bolts of covers of bearings of a camshaft (model 1998 of sm3 with 16 valves).
23. In regular intervals and gradually to weaken covers of bearings of a camshaft that reduces pressure клапанной springs by a bearing cover. As soon as pressure of springs is removed, bolts can be completely unscrewed and removed.
24. To remove covers of bearings, marking a site of probes.
25. To remove camshafts from a head of the block of cylinders, consolidations and a clamp of axial moving.
26. The camshaft operating inlet valves, has a groove for the vacuum pump of brake system in the left end.

33. Covers of the bearing of a camshaft are numbered from 1 to 5, and the cover 1 is located from outside a drive.
34. In regular intervals and gradually to weaken covers of bearings of a camshaft that reduces pressure клапанной springs by a bearing cover. As soon as pressure of springs is removed bolts can completely are unscrewed and removed.
35. To remove covers of bearings, marking their orientation.
36. To remove a camshaft from a head of the block of cylinders.

37. Using a rubber sucker, to take adjusting washers of a backlash of valves. To note a site of pushers for their repeated installation on the places.


Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To check up a condition of working surfaces of bearings of a camshaft, a profile of a cam and a shaft neck. At deterioration of bearings of a camshaft in a head the head of the block of cylinders is subject to replacement.
2. To check up a condition of working surfaces of a pusher of the valve.
3. If at work of the heated-up engine with hydraulic pushers knock of valves is audible, the hydraulic pusher is subject to check and, probably, replacement.
4. On models 1580 of sm3 and 1905 sm3 to check up a plug of axial fixing of a shaft.

Installation
The prevention

If new hydraulic pushers are established, it is necessary to fill them with oil. Pushers place in a bath with engine oil and repeatedly compress them.

Before camshaft installation all working surfaces to grease with a thin layer of engine oil.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Models 1905 of sm3 and 1998 sm3 with 16 valves
1. To establish camshafts on a head. Temporarily to establish segment шпонки and pulleys. To turn camshafts so that Slots on a turn-key basis there were approximately in position 3 hours (fig. Sequence of fastening of bolts of covers of bearings of a camshaft (model 1998 of sm3 with 16 valves see)).
2. To establish covers of bearings and to tighten them in regular intervals and gradually.
3. To establish a pipe of giving of oil to covers of bearings of a camshaft together with linings of round section, having checked up cleanliness of apertures. At installation of a pipe of giving of oil to covers of the bearing of a camshaft not to displace a lining of round section.
4. To establish an internal casing of a gear belt.
5. To establish new consolidations on a camshaft.
6. To establish the ignition distributor.
7. To establish pulleys on a camshaft.
8. To establish a pulley of a drive of the amplifier of a steering and its casing.
9. To establish a head cover.
10. To connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
Other models
11. To establish on the places adjusting washers of a backlash of valves.
12. To establish camshafts on a head. Temporarily to establish шпонку and a pulley.
