14.7. Bulbs of external illumination

THE GENERAL DATA

The prevention

Before replacement of bulbs of external illumination to check up a corresponding electric chain and a safety lock.

Do not concern a glass flask of a lamp with hands. The fingerprint evaporates and besieged on a reflector therefore illumination worsens. It is obligatory to replace the failed lamps with lamps of the same type. Stains arising on imprudence from a touch to wipe pure безворсовой a rag or spirit.

HEADLIGHT

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To release brackets (fastenings are specified by an arrow) and to uncover a back part of a headlight. 2. To remove an electric socket from a back part of a lamp накаливания headlights. 3. To compress spring brackets (fastenings of a bulb are specified by an arrow) and to cast away them aside. 4. To take a bulb from a headlight. 5. To establish a new bulb so that ledges on a bulb cartridge were combined with headlight grooves, and to fix a bulb spring bracket. 6. To connect an electric socket and to establish a back cover of a headlight.

FORWARD DIMENSIONAL LANTERN

The lamp накаливания a dimensional lantern is located in a back part of a headlight.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To release bracket fastenings and to remove a back cover from a headlight. 2. On models till 1992 to take a cartridge with a bulb from a back part of a headlight. On models since 1993 to turn a cartridge with a bulb on a quarter of a turn and to take a cartridge with a bulb from a back part of a headlight. 3. To take a lamp накаливания from a cartridge, simply having pulled it on itself. 4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

THE FORWARD INDEX OF TURN

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Working in a motor compartment, to disconnect fixing spring (it is specified by an arrow) lamps of the forward index of turn from a ledge. 2. To take the forward index of turns from a wing. 3. To turn a cartridge counter-clockwise to take it from the forward index of turns. 4. To take a lamp накаливания from a cartridge, simply having pulled it on itself. 5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal, thus to check up that the fixing spring is correctly established.

THE FORWARD LATERAL REPEATER OF TURNS

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To turn the forward lateral repeater of turns counter-clockwise and to take it from a car wing. 2. To turn a cartridge with a bulb counter-clockwise and to take it from the forward lateral repeater of turns. 3. To take a lamp накаливания from a cartridge, simply having pulled it on itself. 4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

ADDITIONAL FORWARD LIGHT

On some models additional forward light is established in a headlight. Additional forward light joins at headlight inclusion.

Bulb replacement is made the same as also headlight bulbs (see above).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To release spring brackets (are specified by an arrow) fastenings of a bulb of additional forward light. 2. To take a bulb of additional forward light from a headlight.

FORWARD ANTIFOG HEADLIGHTS

The prevention

Some models are equipped by forward antifog headlights which have no screws of fastening visible from outside headlight glass.

Two kinds of headlights can be established. On some models access to a lamp накаливания can be possible from a back part of a spoiler. On other models for access to a bulb it is necessary to remove a headlight.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On models where access to a lamp накаливания is possible from a back part of a spoiler to disconnect an electric socket from a bulb. 2. To remove a rubber cover from a headlight, then to compress spring clamps and to take a bulb. 3. On models where the back part of an antifog headlight is closed by a spoiler to unscrew two screws of fastening from a forward part of a headlight and to take a headlight from a spoiler. 4. To disconnect an electric socket from a bulb, then to compress spring clamps and to take a bulb.

BACK LANTERN (MODELS THE SEDAN)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To open a luggage carrier cover. 2. To compress two brackets fastenings and to take the holder of bulbs from a back lantern. 3. For bulb extraction to press it, in this position to turn in any party and to take from the holder. 4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

BACK LANTERN (MODEL КОМБИ)

Fires of a stoplight and the turn index are located in a back wing. Other bulbs of a back lantern are located in a back door.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To open a back door. 2. To turn bracket fastenings and to open a folding shutter of a covering of a luggage space. 3. To compress two brackets fastenings and to take the holder of bulbs from a back lantern. 4. For bulb extraction to press it, in this position to turn in any party and to take from the holder. 5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

LICENSE PLATE ILLUMINATION (MODELS THE SEDAN)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using a thin screw-driver, to remove a plafond from an underside of a bumper for access to a lamp накаливания. 2. For bulb extraction to press it, in this position to turn in any party and to take from the holder. 3. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

LICENSE PLATE ILLUMINATION (MODEL КОМБИ)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using a thin screw-driver, to remove a lantern of illumination of licence plate from a back door. 2. To take a cartridge with a bulb from a lantern. 3. For bulb extraction to press it, in this position to turn in any party and to take from the holder. 4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
