Site of a mark in the block of cylinders and cranked to a shaft

And – shaped a code (it is used only for manufacture),

B – designation signs

The diagramme of a choice of loose leaves

On early engines the top and bottom loose leaves had an identical thickness.

On late engines the working backlash of the bearing has been considerably reduced and that this condition was carried out, apply four various loose leaves which are designated by a colour label at an end face. Colour of a label designates a thickness of the loose leaf. The top loose leaf on all bearings has the identical size, and the working backlash is regulated by installation of the bottom loose leaf of a demanded thickness.

On the latest engines new loose leaves can be chosen with the account signs on the block of cylinders. In the absence of labels loose leaves can be picked up only measurement of a working backlash.

Labels on the block of cylinders are on a block left-hand side, and labels of a cranked shaft are at an end face of a crosspiece of a cranked shaft. These labels can be used for a choice of the loose leaf of a demanded thickness as follows.

On cranked to a shaft and the block of cylinders there are two lines of identification: shaped a code which is used Peugeot by manufacture and a number from five designations. The first designation in sequence concerns the size of number of 1 loose leaf. Last designation in sequence (which it is accompanied by an arrow) concerns the size of number 5 loose leaves (see fig. the Site of a mark in the block of cylinders and cranked to a shaft). Define number of a designation from a certain neck of a cranked shaft and an aperture of the bearing of the block of cylinders.

On the top axis номограммы mark a designation of a cranked shaft and through this point spend a vertical line. On the left vertical axis номограммы mark a designation of the block of cylinders and through this point spend a horizontal line. The point of intersection of lines specifies the size of the loose leaf for maintenance of a demanded backlash (fig. the Diagram of a choice of loose leaves see).

For example, номограмма shows that the cranked shaft specifies 6, the block of cylinders specifies on H, the point of intersection within red area defines that red (Class D) the most suitable to reception of a demanded backlash.
