11.2.7. Adjustment of height of a suspension bracket of a body Measurement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To check up pressure in tyres of wheels.
2. The equipped car (without loading, with a full fuel tank) to establish on a flat and horizontal surface.
3. To measure distance between base and the bottom part of a body before a back wheel.
4. Before measurement it is necessary to shake the car for pressure removal in a suspension bracket.
5. To spend three measurements and to define average value.
6. To define an average for both parties of the car value (for cars with a body a sedan value makes 210 mm, and for cars with a body combi – 232 mm).
7. The difference between values for both parties should not exceed 7 mm.

Adjustment bases

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Adjustment is based on turn torsionа. Moving torsionа on one шлиц causes change of height of a suspension bracket of a body on 3 mm.
2. Adjustment is carried out by change of length of the adaptation established on a place of the shock-absorber.

Adjustment method

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To measure height of a suspension bracket of a body.
2. Two blows кернера to note position torsionа concerning the lever.
3. To remove torsion (it is not necessary to remove the stabilizer, however it is necessary to unscrew bolts of fastening of the lever).
4. To adjust the adaptation established on a place of the shock-absorber, extending it for increase in height of a suspension bracket of a body or shortening for reduction of height of a suspension bracket of a body (1,5 mm on the adaptation correspond 3 mm of height of a suspension bracket of a body).
5. To establish torsion. Rotating torsion, it is necessary to find such position шлицов in which it freely enters on depth of 8-10 mm. Signs should be moved on corresponding quantity шлицев (one шлиц corresponds 3 mm).
6. To check up height of a suspension bracket of a body.
