11.2.2. Shock-absorber replacement
THE GENERAL DATA

The prevention

During removal and installation of shock-absorbers of a back suspension bracket the car should stand on wheels.


Shock-absorber installation

1 – the shock-absorber,

2 – fastening to a cross-beam,

3 – fastening to the lever,

Х = 328 mm – distance of an axis of the shock-absorber at screwing up of connections

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To place the car on the lift.
2. To unscrew a nut of fastening of the shock-absorber to the lever of a suspension bracket and to remove a lining.
3. To move an axis back for extraction of the shock-absorber from a nest on the lever.
4. To unscrew a nut of fastening of the shock-absorber to the top axis.
5. To remove the shock-absorber and on its place to establish new together with axes. It is not necessary to screw up connections.
6. To establish distance of an axis of points of fastening of the shock-absorber in the size Х = 328 mm, compressing a suspension bracket by means of the adaptation 0.908U.
7. To tighten nuts the corresponding moment.
