10.8. The pump of the amplifier of a steering MODELS WITH ENGINES XU5 AND XU9 (EXCEPT XU9J4)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. 2. On models with a steering drive with the hydraulic booster to merge a liquid from  hydrosystem as follows:       – To uncover a nutritious tank;       – To place the container under муфтой the high pressure pipeline on steering transfer, then to unscrew connection;       – To merge a liquid in the container;       – To finish plums of oil from a contour, turning some times a steering wheel in both directions against the stop;       – To disconnect a hose of low pressure from steering transfer. 3. To fix a shaft of the pump from проворачивания and to weaken bolts of fastening of a pulley. 4. To weaken a bolt натяжителя a belt of the generator and to remove driving a pump belt. 5. To reject the generator upwards, to tighten a fastening bolt натяжителя. 6. To unscrew bolts of fastening of a pulley of the pump and to remove a pulley. 7. To disconnect the pipeline of giving of oil to the pump. 8. To weaken a collar of fastening of a hose, and to disconnect a hose from the pump. If the collar of fastening of a hose has tightening type, to throw out it and to establish a new collar with the screw. 9. To unscrew two lobbies and two back bolts of fastening of the pump. 10. To remove the pump of the amplifier of a steering.

The pump is not under repair and in the presence of defects is subject to replacement.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in sequence of return to removal taking into account following moments:       – To tighten all bolts the demanded moment;       – To adjust a tension driving a belt;       – To add a liquid in steering system.

Removal

To lift a forward part of the car and to fix on supports. To remove a forward right wheel. 4. To remove driving a pump belt. 5. To unscrew муфту the pipeline, and to disconnect a pipe from the pump. 6. To weaken a collar of fastening of a hose, and to disconnect a hose from the pump. If the collar of fastening of a hose has tightening type, to throw out it and to establish a new collar with the screw. 7. To unscrew two forward bolts of fastening of the pump access to which is possible through apertures in a pump pulley (see fig. the Arrangement of two forward bolts of fastening of the pump of the amplifier of a steering). 8. To unscrew a back bolt of the pump of fastening, and to remove the pump from the engine (fig. the Arrangement of a back bolt of fastening of the pump of the amplifier of a steering see).

Installation

Installation is made in sequence of return to removal taking into account following moments:       – To tighten all bolts the demanded moment;       – To adjust a tension driving a belt;       – To add a liquid in steering system.

To unscrew a back bolt of fastening of the pump, and to remove the pump from the engine (fig. the Arrangement of a back bolt of fastening of the pump see).
