At work on fuel system it is necessary to remove preliminary pressure in system.

Pressure removal in fuel system

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. 2. Slowly to weaken a connecting nut in a fuel highway, to remove pressure in fuel system. 3. The alternative method of removal of pressure in fuel system consists in removing or the fuse of the fuel pump, or the relay of the fuel pump and to start the engine in a mode of idling to a stop. After work end on fuel system to establish earlier removed the fuse or the relay.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To check up reliability of connection of wires and absence of corrosion. 2. To check up a condition of the air filter and spark plugs. 3. To check up pressure of a compression in engine cylinders. 4. To check up installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition.

Adjustment

SYSTEMS BOSCH L3. 1 AND MP3. 1

Before adjustment to establish speed of idling and to satisfy following conditions:

      – cистема ignitions should be in a good condition and it is correctly adjusted;
      – The air filter should be pure;
      – Starting positions throttle заслонки are correctly adjusted;
      – The switch throttle заслонки is correctly adjusted;
      – The engine should be heated-up, the cooling fan should join and be switched off once.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To adjust speed of idling by the screw of turn throttle заслонки. Screw turn clockwise reduces speed of idling, counter-clockwise – increases speed. 2. To establish the analyzer of exhaust gas on the car according to instructions of the manufacturer. 3. To adjust structure of a fuel mix (WITH), rotating the screw of a measuring instrument of a stream of air. For access to the screw it is necessary to remove preliminary from it заглушку. 4. To modify speed of idling.

SYSTEM BOSCH ML4. 1

Speed of idling is not regulated. It copes the valve of a regulator of speed of idling.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish the analyzer of exhaust gas on the car according to instructions of the manufacturer. 2. To adjust structure of a fuel mix (WITH), rotating the screw of a measuring instrument of a stream of air. For access to the screw it is necessary to remove preliminary from it заглушку. Screw turn clockwise increases the maintenance WITH, and counter-clockwise – reduces.

Speed of idling is regulated how is described for system Bosch L3.1 (see above).

The structure of a fuel mix is automatically regulated by the device according to signals of the oxygen gauge.

SYSTEM BOSCH MOTRONIC OF M 1. 3

Speed of idling is regulated only on engines with 8 valves; on engines speed of idling copes with 16 valves block ECU.

On systems regulation is not provided. If speed of idling or mix structure do not correspond to norm, means, the management block is damaged.
