4.2. One-dot systems of injection of fuel
THE GENERAL DATA

The fuel system consists of a fuel tank which is established under the car bottom (with the electric fuel pump), shipped in a tank, the fuel filter, submitting and returnable hoses, an injector with one fuel atomizer and a fuel regulator of pressure. Besides, there is an electronic control device (ECU), various gauges and electric components. The air filter contains a disposable paper filtering element and includes a control system in temperature of arriving air.
The prevention

The fuel system constantly is under pressure, even at the switched off engine.


The system of injection of fuel ECU – self-adjusted system which supervises and stores the data providing optimum operational power setting at various loadings. At accumulator switching-off there is a deleting of the data and for their restoration it is necessary to start the engine and to take it idling while the system will not be adjusted. This process will be is better executed at carrying out of the road test within 15 minutes at 2500–3500 turns in a minute.

SYSTEM FENIX 1B

System Fenix IB – incorporated system of ignition and fuel injection. At use of inputs from various gauges the electronic control device calculates optimum duration of an impulse of a fuel atomizer and installation of an advancing of ignition for maintenance of operational power setting.

The electronic control device receives signals from following gauges:

 – The gauge of frequency of rotation of the engine;
 – The gauge of absolute pressure in a collector;
 – The gauge of temperature of soaked up air;
 – The gauge of position throttle заслонки;
 – The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid;
 – The oxygen gauge.

Speed of idling copes the electronic control device through regulating valve of speed of idling.
The oxygen gauge allows the electronic control device to operate structure of a fuel mix in the limits, allowing use catalytic neutralizer.

The electronic control device constantly changes structure of a fuel mix, turns of idling and installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition for efficiency maintenance on all operational modes and reduces issue of exhaust gases.

SYSTEM BOSCH MONOPOINT MA 3.0

The control system of engine Bosch MA3.0 (ignition / system of injection of fuel) includes каталитический neutralizer and a control system of allocation of steams of fuel, and also carries out the latest standards of management of issue. The system works as follows. The fuel pump shipped in a fuel tank, submits fuel from a fuel tank to a fuel atomizer through the filter. Pressure of fuel in system copes a pressure regulator. The regulator allows surplus of fuel to come back in a fuel tank.

The electric control system consists from ECU together with following gauges:

 – The potentiometer throttle заслонки – informs ECU position of opening or closing throttle заслонки;
 – The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid – informs ECU engine temperature;
 – The gauge of temperature of arriving air – informs ECU temperature of air which is passing through throttle заслонку;
 – The ljambda-gauge – informs ECU oxygen maintenances in exhaust gases;
 – The microswitch – informs ECU when throttle заслонка it is closed (that is when the pedal of management is not pressed by fuel giving);
 – The gauge of position of a cranked shaft – informs ECU frequency of rotation of the engine and position of a cranked shaft;
 – The gauge of speed of the car (on a transmission).

SYSTEMS MAGNETI MARELLI G5 AND G6


The control system of engine Magneti Marelli is established on engines XU5. System work is similar to work Bosch Monopoint MA 3.0. The electric control system consists from ECU along with following gauges:

 – The gauge of absolute pressure in a collector – informs ECU depression in an inlet collector;
 – The gauge of position of a cranked shaft – informs ECU frequency of rotation of the engine and position of a cranked shaft;
 – The potentiometer throttle заслонки – informs ECU position of opening or closing throttle заслонки;
 – The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid – informs ECU engine temperature;
 – The gauge of temperature of a fuel mix – informs ECU temperature of a fuel mix arriving in the engine;
 – лямбда (oxygen) gauge – informs ECU the oxygen maintenance in exhaust gases.

Besides, ECU adapts to the lowered pressure on the storage battery, changing width of an impulse of an atomizer and changing initial position throttle заслонки (the additional engine) for increase in turns of idling.

The digital method is applied to processing of signals from gauges with use of the data, before brought in memory of system.

If there is an error in any of the data received from the gauge, ECU enters into a way of the doubler. In this case ECU ignores a wrong signal of the gauge and accepts preliminary programmed value which will allow the engine to continue work (though and with smaller efficiency). If ECU enters into a way of the doubler, the alarm system lamp on the instrument panel will light up and damage will be written down in memory ECU. After that it is necessary to conduct full test of a control system by the engine, using the special electronic diagnostic test bed which simply joins in a diagnostic socket of system.


The prevention

At work on fuel system it is necessary to remove preliminary pressure in system.
