PERFORMANCE ORDER

The prevention

Plums of a cooling liquid to make only on the cold engine. The cooling liquid is very toxic.


1. To uncover a jellied mouth of a broad tank for what to turn it clockwise before the first fixing. To wait, while pressure in system will decrease, then to press a cover downwards and to turn counter-clockwise before the second fixing, then to remove it.
2. To establish the corresponding container under a radiator left-hand side.
3. To unscrew a drain stopper and to merge cooling liquid.
4. For full and fast plum of a liquid from cooling system to unscrew screws of an admission of air. On all engines, except 1,4 l, screws of an admission of air (are specified by arrows in drawing at the left) are located in a cover and a thermostat casing. On engines of 1,4 l screws of an admission of air (the screw is specified by an arrow in drawing on the right) are located in a casing of the thermostat and in a hose of a supply of a cooling liquid to a head of the block of cylinders.
5. In addition on engines of 2,0 l XU10J4 there is a screw of an admission of air, located in a hose of a supply of a cooling liquid behind a head of the block of cylinders.
6. All models also have the screw (it is specified by an arrow) air admission, located in the higher left corner of a radiator.
7. Repeatedly to place the container under a drain stopper of the block of cylinders, to unscrew a stopper and to merge a liquid from the block of cylinders.
8. On engines of 1,4 l the drain stopper is located in the left forward part of the block of cylinders (it is specified by an arrow in drawing at the left). On engines of 2,0 l the drain stopper is located in the left back part of the block of cylinders (it is specified by an arrow in drawing on the right).
9. After end plum to wash out cooling system, directing a stream at its finest through a radiator, and to continue washing until pure water will not start to appear from an exit of the bottom tank of a radiator.

Filling of system of cooling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before filling of system of cooling to make sure that all hoses and collars in a good condition. To pay attention that the mix of antifreezes should be used all year long for corrosion prevention. Also to check up, that a stopper on a radiator and drain stoppers of the block of cylinders have been established into place.
2. To remove a stopper from a broad tank.
3. To unscrew screws of giving of air in cooling system.
4. To establish the additional tank (it is specified by an arrow) in a broad tank and slowly to fill system. The additional tank should be established on a broad tank tightly that will provide filling of the highest points of system of cooling. In process of filling of system of cooling with a liquid as soon as there is a coolant, free from air bubbles, from under the screw of giving of air, gradually, since the bottom screws to screw up screws.
5. The additional tank should be full during all process of filling of system.
6. After filling of system of cooling to tighten all screws and to establish a stopper on a broad tank.
7. To start the engine and to warm up it to working temperature, then to check up level of a cooling liquid and if necessary to finish it to norm.
